Mairi is a Project Leader on Claire’s team; previously, she was a Publishing Intern and Project Editor. She joined Prepress Projects Ltd in September 2020 after graduating with a degree in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, although the actual graduation ceremony did not materialise until August 2021.
Mairi got into publishing after volunteering with the LitPALs (Literature Peer Assisted Learning) society at university, and discovering a love of style guides and corrections.
Outside of work, Mairi is a qualified dance teacher and spends a lot of her time helping her (many) younger siblings create costumes for school fun runs. She also plays the French horn, although she put any group rehearsals on hold for pandemic-related reasons and hasn't returned...
